Heat Pumps for Geysers & Pools
Cut your electricity bill by up to 70% with a heat pump. We stock geyser heat pumps and pool heat pumps with nationwide delivery across South Africa.
How It Works
Why a Heat Pump Beats an Electric Geyser
A heat pump doesn't generate heat — it moves it. By extracting warmth from the ambient air and transferring it to your water, it delivers 3–4 units of heat energy for every 1 unit of electricity consumed. That's why they're up to 70% cheaper to run than a traditional electric element.
Absorbs Ambient Heat
The heat pump draws in outside air, even on cooler days, and passes it over a refrigerant-filled evaporator coil.
Compresses & Heats
A compressor raises the refrigerant temperature significantly, creating a high-temperature gas.
Transfers to Water
The hot gas passes through a condenser coil wrapped around or submerged in your water tank, heating the water.
Cycle Repeats
The refrigerant cools, returns to liquid, and the cycle repeats — continuously heating your water efficiently.
Geyser Heat Pumps
Replace Your Electric Element & Save
A geyser heat pump replaces or supplements your existing electric element. Most installations take under a day and work with your existing geyser tank. Ideal for homes and small businesses.
- Works with most existing geyser tanks
- Payback period of 18–36 months
- Operates in ambient temperatures from 5°C to 43°C
- Qualifies for Eskom rebates (where applicable)
- Available in 150L, 200L, and 300L configurations
Pool Heat Pumps
Swim Year-Round with a Pool Heat Pump
A pool heat pump extends your swimming season by keeping your pool at a comfortable temperature all year. Far more efficient than gas or electric pool heaters, they connect inline with your existing pump and filter system.
- Extends swimming season to 12 months
- Titanium heat exchangers resist corrosion
- Available from 6kW to 32kW output
- Digital display with temperature control
- Quiet operation — typically under 55dB
